CALEDONIAN Heritable, the pubs and leisure company which owns the Archerfield golf club in East Lothian, has reported a rise in annual pre-tax profits from £5.1 million to £7m.

The company, owned by entrepreneur Kevin Doyle, achieved a rise in revenues from continuing operations to £35.1m in the year to October 31, from £34.4m in the prior 12 months.

Caledonian Heritable’s directors say in the accounts, which have just become available from Companies House, that they are “satisfied” with the profit level.

The accounts note the company also has property and industrial plant-hire operations.
