Construction firm Kier has won three major contracts worth a total of £5 billion. The property and construction company said the "framework awards" include a place on a four-year £4 billion Department of Health contract and that it is one of five contractors on two five-year construction awards worth up to £750 million at Gatwick Airport. Chief executive Haydn Mursell said: "These awards demonstrate the breadth of our offering and the strength of our relationships with clients across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, aviation and education."
