High Court in Glasgow
A WOMAN is to stand trial charged with murdering her mother.
Sadie Bale faced the allegation at the High Court in Glasgow.
The 34 year-old is accused of attacking Yvonne Bale at her mother's home in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde on June 9 this year.
Prosecutors allege Ms Bale threatened the 63 year-old with violence before brandishing and pursuing her mother with a knife.
The murder charges goes on to claim she then repeatedly struck her mother on the body with the blade.
Judge Lord Bannatyne set a trial due to begin in April next year.
