Edinburgh Airport
TWO flights were diverted after a vehicle went on fire at Edinburgh Airport.
It is not clear why the maintenance vehicle at the centre of the drama burst into flames during work at a taxiway at the airport.
Passengers were said to have been in no danger and no-one was injured in the blaze.
Two flights were diverted, one flying from Dublin to Edinburgh which was redirected to Prestwick, and one from Barcelona, which landed at Glasgow Airport.
