SEVEN men were injured after a street brawl broke out in the Gallowgate.
Four of the men were taken to hospital after a group of thugs, understood to be Ajax fans, tried to challenge customers in some of the pubs yesterday around 7pm.
The group were dressed in black, wearing hoods and had scarves covering their faces during the attack, which damaged a number of pubs and resulted in four men being seriously assaulted.

A brawl then spilled on to the street and seven men were injured, before four, aged 52, 37, 27 and 25 were taken to the Royal Infirmary.
A 37-year-old and 27-year-old remain in hospital and are in a stable condition.
Police are now appealing to anyone who was in the area and who witness anything, or who may have mobile phone footage, to get in touch.
Detective Inspector Colin Hailstones, who is leading the investigation, said: "We are still at the early stages of this enquiry and would appeal to anyone who was in the area, who has mobile phone footage or any information that will help us with our enquiries to come forward to police.
"It would appear that this disturbance took place when a large group of men, described as being dressed in black with hoods and scarves covering their faces, tried to gain access to some of the pubs in the Gallowgate and started to challenge patrons within.
"This then developed and people spilled on to the street where the assaults took place.
"We have been checking CCTV in the area and have already spoken to people who were there at the time as part of the investigation for which there is a dedicated team off officers involved.
"People may think they have got away with it, but just because you may not have been arrested at the time doesn’t mean you won’t be identified and caught."

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
