Highland hotel cordoned off as police tackle serious ongoing incident
Police have cordoned off an hotel after reports of a "disturbance" in Muir of Ord in the Highlands.
The Tarradale Hotel in the Ross-shire village has been closed off while the incident remains ongoing.
Police said there was no threat to public safety,
Fire crews from Inverness and Dingwall are also in attendance.
A police spokesman said there was "no effect to public safety and the incident is contained".
