KELVINGROVE Art Gallery and Museum has received an Experts' Choice Award for 2016 from TripExpert.

The awards rate attractions, hotels and restaurants around the world based on reviews from journalists and professional travel writers.

With a TripExpert Score of 89 and endorsements from leading publications - including Frommer's, Lonely Planet and Fodor's - Kelvingrove Museum is one of the highest rated attractions in Glasgow on TripExpert.com.

The awards recognize businesses that have outperformed their peers, as reflected in reviews from more than 70 source publications trusted by TripExpert.

Each venue’s TripExpert Score is calculated by looking at how many publications have recommended it, what they’ve said about it and what score or rating they’ve given it.

Kelvingrove Museum was among 5000 winners across four continents in more than 80 countries, which include tourist attractions, hotels and restaurants.

It features in the tourist attraction category, which reviews museums, parks, historical buildings and other places of interest.
