DAVID Torrance (“It’s still all our yesterdays as parties stick to old mantras”, The Herald, May 2) is touchingly naive for a man who has made a career out of political commentating. It appears from his latest piece that he has only now stumbled upon the central principle of all political parties – they will do and say almost anything to get elected. His next expose will be that capitalists are in it for the money.
