RICHARD Mowbray (Letters, August 22) claims that "the UK appears to be coming through Brexit largely unscathed”.

This week you carried a report headlined "Gloomy outlook for house prices following Brexit vote" (The Herald, August 22) At the weekend, Fergus Ewing stated that Scotland was likely to lose a €107 million subsidy from the European Maritime Fisheries Fund.

Quite a lot of "scathing" in a couple of days, especially, as Mr Mowbray has obviously failed to realise. We haven't even started the Brexit process

SOMEONE should remind Richard Mowbray (Letters, August 23) that Brexit has not started yet.
