Jenny Holl enjoyed a hugely successful few hours on day one of the British Track Cycling Championships, which are taking place in Manchester.

The 24-year-old first won silver as pilot to Sophie Unwin in the Para TT before becoming national champion in the women's scratch race with a hugely impressive ride.

"I really wanted to win, I wanted to go home with a British champions jersey," said Holl, from Stirling.

"When I attacked, it was full gas, full commitment and you just have to hope the gap you got at the start of that attack is enough."

Neil Fachie won yet another national title, wining gold in the para MB kilo alongside pilot, Matt Rotherham while in the women's team pursuit, Kate Richardson was part of Team Inspired which cruised to gold in the final.
